Over the past eight months we have been undergoing an extensive remodel. In that time we have dealt with three different contractors. The only company that we refer to anyone is AJF Custom Homes. We recently bought some acreage and moved to the country, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Our new home, a charming territorial built by Alan Fernandez of AJF Custom Homes, L.L.C., is everything we expected and more.

I have been very pleased with my AJF home. This has been the 5th home that I have owned. Much to my surprise this has been the first time that I have not found any structural or workmanship problems! I am a very particular person having worked in the past as an Ophthalmic surgeon and I am very very particular and extremely attentive to detail. Congratulations AJF for building a wonderful home.

We recently bougn an AJF Custom home built by Alan J. Fernandez. Working with Alan Fernandez was a pleasure. He “went the extra mile” to ensure that we would be pleased with our new home. He was always cheerful and knew just how to guide us in making good decisions about our home. He takes pride in his product and makes sure the work areas are kept clean of trash and debris, therefore allowing the future homeowner to see their home under construction.

We are writing this letter in regard to the recent pleasure we had of building a custom home with AJF Custom Homes. Our primary contact was Alan Fernandez, CEO of AJF Custom Homes. After we decided on a floor plan, we had the unforeseen luck of selling our home in just one day. As a result, there was an enormous amount of pressure to complete construction of our new home 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Alan readily accepted this challenge without reservation, and guaranteed us that our home would be finished when we needed it. Alan guided us through every step of the construction process. He is knowledgeable and well organized, meticulous about detail, courteous, prompt and a true professional. We consider him an expert on everything from building codes and regulations, to color patterns and the ergonomics of luxury home living. During construction, he met with us once a week to discuss the progress of the home. During these meetings, he was extremely helpful not only on updating us on the particular phase of construction, but also by making some wonderful recommendations on additions and changes to the home, which in turn calmed many anxieties we had. In a world where service and quality are scarce, these things seem to be Alan’s forte. He delivered fair, honest, quality work, and service with a smile. He not only takes pride in his work, but he is a true “people person”, which lends itself to his success. It was truly a pleasure to work with Alan and his staff, and we would recommend him to anyone who wants to build a custom home.
